Hi Bill

Or all users block popups and don´t understand
how to permit for microsoft.com ;)

Crazy, stupid and ............... Made in MS.

Rocky says his colleagues are working on it... :)

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Customer Service.

I understand that you encountered broken Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta forums. I
apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

I am working with my colleagues to resolve your issue. I will inform you as soon
as the error is fixed. Typically, we hear from them in 24 to 72 hours, but it
all depends on the complexity of the issue.

Thank you,

Rocky

Thanks - I think they are sufficiently alerted, but some subtleties are
still broken--I think I will wait until tomorrow morning to run through them
again and see how they are doing.

I don't know about the rest of you but that phrase makes me thing of a
certain squirrel and moose combo.......

Ugh. Now posts from teh 13th are showign up, but not ones I made from teh web
interface.

They are still somewhat broken--I'm getting reports that the link in the
program now works, but the email I got about your response contained two
links, both of which hit the 404 page.

Bill,
I just went in thru NNTP and there's nothing posted there since yesterday.

Ron Chamberlin

Thanks, Andy--things are better now, but there are some oddities about the
synchronization between HTML and NNTP---there's a thread which in fact
happened at 7:20 PM by my time, which reads 12:11 AM in the NNTP side of
things.

The "test for bill sanderson" thread reads as 4:20 PM Pacific time on the
HTML side.

On the NNTP side, it reads as 12:11 AM (Eastern time)

This is quite strange--lets hope it doesn't continue.

Different crew, plun--that change requires a fix to the underlying forum
software--not something that happens quickly, I'm afraid.

Todays adventures I believe relate to the XML schema for the way the groups
are presented--as I dimly understand it.

Well, nevertheless if MS is cut in 1000 different departments for
different issues this is a basic function.

A service to all users. and using popups bah ;( stupidity !

Looks like about a 5 hour delay for yesterday's traffic--not sure what's
happening today!
