I use RDP from lots of place to lots of systems. In one place it won't
let me thru and it seems to insist on pre-filling a domain box in the
logon which I can't change. This happens when I am at one office where
they have a domain. I plug in my laptop and get access to the local
network. My laptop is not part of the domain and I am not logging in
locally to the domain. I fire up RDP and try to connect to the server
at another site, which always works from home and other sites. But
when I'm at this one office it won't let me connect and it appears to
be because where I enter my logon and password (for the remote system)
it also has the domain box. That box is pre-filled with the domain of
the local office and is a non-editable box. Is this expected behavior?
Something I'm missing in how to work around?
Thanks,
Tom
