Are there any known bugs with Office 2003 and Exchange 5.x?

Down in our little thread about times within shared outlook calendars
showing up an hour out on different machines we have come to the conclusion
that we are all using Exchange 5.x with mixed 2000 and 2003 clients.

Are there any known bugs with these configurations? I know 5.x is no longer
supported but I have several other things that require working on before we
get an upgraded mail server. We are a court house and this issue is causing
havoc with scheduling conferences and court appearances for our Hearing
Officers.

Any semi official word would be greatfuly apreciated,

Thanks

Victoria

Where exactly on slipstick can you find any info about
calanders being an hour off using Office 02 & 03 and
exchange 5.5? Your help is much appreciated.

Time problems are caused by servers and workstations not on the same
timezone or using the same daylight time settings.

All users and servers are on the same timezone and daylight savings time is
checked on all machines (both in system settings and within outlook) - we
are one building so there is no remote problems. This problem is still
appearing inconsistantly through days (mon and tues will be fine but
wednesday will be an hour out on all appointments) and users, ie not
everyones wednesday is an hour out - can find no pattern for it either..

extremely frustrating...

There are 8 users on office 2000 who have access to a office 2003 users
calendar.

1 user appears to see everything fine (last we checked), other users get
inconsistant results (including the calendars owner)

There is no time synch server, but I have gone and checked each system to
make sure its settings are all okay and they are all within a minute of each
other

here is my original post, explaining the problem in a bit more detail:

We have 1 persons calendar that is shared to about 8 other people. This
person is running Office 2003. The other users are running Office 2000.

We have a problem that is showing up inconsistantly. Some appointments are
showing up an hour ahead of what they are meant to be. This is happening to
all users that I can tell, including the original calendar. I cannot see any
pattern to the ones that are showing wrong. I have checked the system date
and time on each persons computer and it is correct. I have checked the time
zone info in Outlook itself (under calendar options) this is correct. The
options are all identically set on each machine.

If I correct the incorrect time it show up on other peoples machines an hour
earlier. When I was looking at the original calendar earlier I opened the
timezone dialog under calendar options, looked and clicked ok. I didn't
actually change anything, the calendar behind refreshed and all the
incorrect times became correct.

On looking at the calendar on another persons machine 5 mins later they were
showing some of the times to be an hour ahead of what they were meant to be.
I tried looking at the timezone info again but it didn't correct anything
this time.

Can anyone give any pointers here? It's causing havoc with scheduling this
persons time, especially when it's so inconsistant. Monday and tuesday will
be fine, but wednesday will be all out by an hour.

Thanks

Victoria

Oh and its exchange 5.0 on an NT4.0 Server

As far as I can see all patches and service packs are up to date on all
machines at least as of a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks again
