Are there animated backgrounds available for Power Point ?

I have Power Point version 2003. I am interested in knowing if there are
animated backgrounds available. I know I can pick up animated clip art, but
I want animated background. Example: Swirling colors background, twinkling
stars background etc...
Thankyou for any info you can give me on this subject.
 
This would be a fantastic option - but it is not available
as you would in video editing, because PPT does not allow
anything to play on top of a movie/.swf/or other motion
graphics file.

- If using PPT 2002/2003 you can be creative with
animating semi-transparent .pngs set to repeat until end
of slide.
- Or if you have a more robust computer, a sense of
adventure and some skill look into OfficeFX
(www.instanteffects.com) that converts PPT presentations
to run in realtime 3D, which includes continuous motion
backgrounds.

I don't know a source for animated templates. But you can make them
yourself. If you e.g. have an animated GIF of twinkling stars, you can use
it as a tiled background. But please consider, that background motion
distracts viewers from your slide content.
