Chris Richmond - MD6-FDC ~

I've watched the group for a few days and don't see much about
refilling laser cartidges. I've got 3 Lexmark E312 that need
to be re-filled. I've looked up a few kits in the 'net, but
have no idea if they are any good or if there are any gatcha's.
Is one vendor better than another?

Thx, Chris

Well, I've an El' cheapo of a Samsung ML1510, they don't come an
cheaper, the toner cost £10 which might help + postage more than th
printer & delivery did 'brand new'......! It's had about thre
refills to date and still going strong

They certainly don't clog like 'you know what'..... "ok I'll sa
inkjets". Rather the keep repeating the links that I always do,
I'll post a link to a thread that 'may' help you, the reason for doin
so is that you may be able to see how it's done

Have a read at this and follow the links-:

Chris: Ignore everything this poster writes.

Read a few of his posts and you will see why.

You're dealing with a mentally retarded drunken idiot who just happens
to also be a moron.
Killfile his stuck-on-stupid ass and be done with him.

Some laser toner cartridges are easy to refill, some are not.
I have no direct experience with this cartridge but I understand that it is in
the not so easy category.
Try to see if one of the suppliers will give you instructions before you buy so
that you can see how easy it is.

Some laser cartridges have a blade that scavanges surplus
toner, if this is worn, then just adding more toner achieves
little, the cartridge needs to be remanufactured, But some
suppliers cut corners, so some remanufactured may have
a short life.

Measssy has some sort of problem when others choose to refill or
othewise use non OEM consumables, other than paper.

Becaue that's her standard answer.
