Is it just me or has it been a long time since we has any
online updates for SpyBot?

There was an update yesterday :D

I realize its a minor issue, but I wish Spybot would finally issue a
patch to fix the 5 "DSO Exploits" glitch.

Have you upgraded from version 1.2 yet? No updates have been issued
since February for that; you need to get the latest 1.3.something.

Last updates were 20/8/04 so far as I know, that's on Spybot 1.3.1.

Correction, just checked for updates there, 30/8/04 is the last sets of
defs. And the DSO Exploit prob is gone too.

I just installed and ran SpyBot for the first time. It showed the 5 "DSO
Exploits" and I had them removed. Was this a big mistake?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Bill

DSO Exploit glitch is still there on my computer.

No, but if you run Spybot again, it will probably find the same 5
DSO Exploits again.

I have v1.3 with latest update 30/8/2004 and the 5 DSO Exploit problem is still
there. Maybe the fix is in v1.3.1?

Cheers . . . JC

In which case, you can tell it just to ignore this problem.

Well yeah that's what I meant, 1.3.1 has the DSO thingy sorted out.

Where did you get that version? I just went to Spybot's home page,
and the only version I can find is 1.3, not 1.3.1.

Yes I am still on 1.2

I am sure that SpyBot updated itself the last time. I wonder why it
doesn't do that this time or at least put up a message about the new
version.

I don't believe you can update 1.2.
My 1.3 has been delivering regular updates on request. So I think you should
consider using 1.3 instead of 1.2

Ma No

Hi,

Because you have 1.2, and there are no more updates for 1.2. Time
to upgrade.

Ken.
