In reading the various discussions, I find references to Outlook. I use
Outlook Express 6. Are these the same programs?
Reason for asking, I am trying to open/process an Outlook.pst file. I have
it copied onto my HDD, the read-only attribute has been turned off. But I
cannot get Outlook Express to "recognize" it as valid input. I am trying to
do an "import" because I created the files on another computer using the
"export" facility of Outlook Express 6.
One of the appends I read said don't try to import it, open it instead using
Outlook->file->open->. However in Outlook EXPRESS, file->open always opens
whatever you are looknig at in OE at the time. It doesn't seem to give you
an option to look at a file external to it.
