Are copied Pivot Tables "linked" to each other ?

I have '1' great working pivot table. I copied that worksheet that had the
Pivot Table on it. Thus I have the original '1' pivot table and a new '2nd'
Pivot Table separate worksheets.
When I make a successful change to Pivot Table '2' ex: Group & Show Detail /
Group / Months... the change also appears on the original Pivot Table '1'.
Is there a way to break the link between the two or ... should I refrain
from copying Pivot Tables and build the Pivot Table '2' from scratch ?
Thank you in advance,
Joe

Option 3, actually. Yes, you shouldn't copy the PivotTable if you don't want
them linked, but when you "build from scratch" choose the option to base the
new PivotTable off of the old PivotTable. It'll now be independent in setup,
but won't use 2x memory.

When you copy pivot table 1, or create a pivot table based on pivot
table 1, those pivot tables will share the same pivot cache.

Then, if you group a field in one pivot table, that field will also be
grouped in the other pivot table.

If you want the pivot tables to have separate pivot caches, and separate
groups, then create the second pivot table from scratch, based on the
same source data that you used for the first pivot table.

If you see a message that asks if you want to base the new pivot table
