We've got a Dell cabinet full of Dell servers but we want to move a non-Dell
server into the rack - actually a Antec rackmount case. Are cabinet fitting
standard? In the past we've just bought the Dell rail kit with each Dell
server.

Thanks, Rob.

Dell racks almost always use square holes, and their rail kits are
designed for square holes. Many other racks use round holes, and when
you buy non-dell equipment you usually have a choice for the type of
rack kit, so choose the square kit. Your hardware vendor should know
whether or not the square kit will work with Dell racks.

Thanks for the information.
