The reason I ask, I replaced my Mobo & lost my ISA slot for my Mustek
scanner. It was a SCSI card. I emailed Mustek asking about a PCI card and
they told me what card I needed to order. I went to the web site & saw a
photo of the card they recommended & it was an ISA card! Plus they wanted
$40 for it. I'm thinking Mustek support is not manned by people with any
technical skills. If any PCI SCSI card will work, please let me know.

Thanks

Do not assume that your scanner will work with the PCI SCSI card. It might,
but my HP 4000C scanner didn't, but works just fine with the ISA SCSI card
which it was supplied with. You just have to try it.......

Make sure it has the same external pin count you're cable has. If not a
cable could be more than the card or the scanner costs!

BTW scanners have gotten light years better and a new cheapo USB scanner is
probably MUCH better than the one you have and fast as well. Unless you're
using linux and need a supported scanner/scsi card, I'd just get a USB
scanner.
