Hi
has anyone found a good way of archiving large emails and have them available for searching? I have tons of backed up .pst files but need to open them one by one to search within. Any 3rd party software available or some form of export

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

Nothing that I am aware of will give you that functionality across multiple
PSTs, however with Outlook 2003 you
can have VERY large PSTs (16GB) and you could probably dump all of your old
ones into one large PST.

Hi
thanks Harvey, yes apparently the .pst format is protected by MS so no one can build a third party apps to make a better search engine

I'm using Outlook 2002, is it also capable of large 16gb files? Our IT people here have told us to limit the .pst files size to 150mb

Thanks

Matt

There are several indexing programs that should be able to handle multiple
..pst files, as long as they're available in your Outlook profile. See
