Archiving Issue

I have trouble archiving my email messages. When I archive, the archive folders are created but nothing is moved to them. I have all of the settings set for archiving but it does not seem to be working. Any suggestions?
 
What are your archive settings? Do you set each folder individually, or are
you using global archiving settings?
 
I had the same problem with Outlook 200
The solution seems to be: you must disable Cached Exchange Mode

This behaviour is neither useful or documented
In faxt the manual archive is not even in the help system

Can someone complain to Microsoft

no I was wron
even with cached mode disabled my archive file remains empty aprt from the folder structure
does any one know how to fix this ?
 
I said it may be a modified date problem.
In any case you can examine the modified date of yr mails, to ascertain as
to whether this is the problem

I am having this same problem when archiving. What I have found is that everything in the profile has the modified date changed to something recent. Any idea of what causes the entire profile to change? Because of this, some of my users have HUGE profiles because they don't want to take the time to weed things out.
