Archiving is one thing, but finding it back is another...

Microsoft's website says: "Catalog your photos—You need to be able to find
images quickly and easily. Otherwise you'll waste a lot of time."

And here is where I have a lot of trouble: I have plenty of CDrom's with
pictures on them. The CD's are clearly labelled.

Now, I try to find a picture. I vagely remember what it looked like
(beautiful head of a horse against a blue sky). However, I forgot why or when
I took the picture.... Do I have to re-scan all CD's??

This is where I find no software that does the trick: keep a database of
thumbnails on my computer, with reference to where the picture is stored (on
what CD, in what folder, etc.)

Is there any such software anywhere out on the market that does a good job
in managing my photo library??
