Yes you archive the old DW subweb and create a new empty DW each time
- in the archived web you can either allow users to continue to post, or edit the post / respond pages to remove the submit options

| So would I be creating a new discussion web (subweb)every
| time I arhive?
|
| or am I creating a subweb for every archived page? and do
| I have to create a new subweb for every arvhiced page?
|
| Confused; isn't there an easier way?
| Thanks
|
| I participate on a travel forum;
| (
http://www.caribline.com/islands/cu/forum.shtml) they
| seem to archive articles very quickly; after so many
| threads on the page 100 or so?
