Archive.pst seems to be corrupted - how to fix it?

Hi.

A user called me that he cannot archive his mail.
He has Outlook 98, running on Windows NT 4.0.
I checked it and I saw that he has an archive.pst file. I tried to open it,
but it's failed.

Then I copied it to my computer (it's 2.112.208.896 bytes = 1,96 GB!), and I
tried to run scanpst.exe on it. It started, but at the end of the first
phase it gave me an error message: "An error occured, which stops repairing
this file. The original file wasn't modified." (Sorry, but the error message
is in Hungarian, and I don't know exactly what is it in English).

What can I do with this file? Is there any other method to fix it somehow?

The maximum size of a pst-file is 2GB. See the following KB article on how
to recover your mail;
