Archive folders

I have been testing archiving of e-mail folders.I have
created several different .pst files using the archive
utility. What is happening is each file is listed under a
separate "Archive Folders" header in Outlook (2000,2002,
2003).

If I could rename the "Archive Folders" header name, then
this would not be an issue.

I'd like to just have One "Archive Folders" header with
many Outook .pst files listed underneath.

Any thoughts?

Ken

Not possible. As long a .pst file is actively being used for archiving, Outlook forces the display name to Archive Folders. Most people use just one archive file at a time.

If you go into the properties of the Archive Folders and
click on the Advanced button, you can then change the name
of the folder. This is a manual way of doing things so I
apologixe if you're looking for more. Hope this helped.

Unfortunately, Outlook will change it back if the .pst file is being actively used for archiving.

I'll take your word for it. I don't want to test it in
fear of losing something. I didn't know it would do such
a thing! Thanks
