Appointments in Outlook

User enters appointments for a date in the future (a week
from now, a month from now, etc.) on Save and Close the
appointment always appears on today's list of
appointments, not on the date entered. I remoted in and
tried it and it did it for me as well.

Is there a switch that defaults all appointments entered
today to today's calendar? How can turn it off?

Have you tried using the ".../CleanViews" switch. The
link below will give you the instructions on how to use it
(use the one for your outlook version).

NOTE: This will wipe out any special views that you have
created in Outlook and restore them to the original settings.

I have the same problem in Outlook 2003. I tried all of the above, an
had to reset my custom view, but the problem did not get resolved. Th
appointment data is correct in day, week, month views, and begins an
ends on Wednesday May 19. It shows up under as Tuesday May 18 i
Outlook Today view. It is not a duplicate, as the appointment does no
show for tomorrow
