Appointments in Calendar

My Outlook 2007 calendar used to work fine. For some reason it has stopped
accepting appointment entries directly into the calendar - requiring me to go
to New Appointment, change the date each time, etc. I also am not able to
automatically move one appointment to a new date on the calendar like I used
to.

Any suggestions? Thank you.
