In Outlook 2002 - when being invited for a new appointment
I receive the e-mail invitation, however the "accept
invitation" feature is not available. Therefore, I cannot
automatically reply to sender whether I approved or
declined the appointment. Most importantly, it does not
automatically go into my calendar - I have to drag the e-
mail to the calendar and adjust the time & date. Please
help!!!

I share your frustration. spent half a day trying to
find a solution. Best I came up with was that because I
am not on a server, I don't have access to that feature.
Seems unreasonable that a product this complex can't do
what you are suggesting. Let's hope someone out there
can help ... There must be zillions with the same issue.

The only thing I could figure out at our office to have
somewhat of a system that works - not very convenient - is
to select make new meeting from the actions tab form the
calendar view and then type the invitee's e-mail address
instead of selecting it from the contact folder.
