appointments changing without my input from one day to two

I must be doing something wrong. I enter time specific appointment such as a
doctor appointment or school meeting and then at some later time the
appointment changes BY ITSELF to a two day appointment starting at 1:00 AM on
the first day and ending at 1:00 AM on the next day. Or I wil enter a
specific time such as 3:45 and later the appointment will change BY ITSELF to
2:45? This is driving me nuts and I cannot rely on my calendar. Just today
I had to call my son's doctor to see exactly what time his appt was. Help.
 
you have a problem with your time zone or are syncing with a pda that is in
a different time zone (also check daylight time settings).

Thanks Diane but all the times and time zones are set for central time
including my palm. Daylight saving time boxes are all checked. Today I had
a doctor's appointment that I know I input as 12:45, but it shows on my
calendar as 1:45. I almost missed the appointment. This has been going on
for awhile I just have not had time to try and figure it out.
