When you put in an appointment on the calendar the "Start
time" field always defaults to today's date. You can
change it but the appointment will still go from today's
date until whatever you put in the "End time" field.

Thanks for your help

Glen

I'm using Outlook 2002 sp2. To create a new appointment
I'm double-clicking on a calendar date. For example, if
today is the 11th and I double-click on the 15th to make
an appointment on the 15th, a new appointment window pops
up but the start time field says the 11th. If I change it
to the 15th at 2:00pm and then change the end time to the
15th at 3:00pm and then click save and close, an
appointment is created but it goes from Oct 11 2:00pm to
Oct 15 3:00pm. It's weird. I have all the current office
and windows updates. Thanks for your help. Glen.

Hmmm...you're not the first person I've heard this complaint from recently.
We're looking into it. Any chance you have any custom add-ins or custom
calendaring forms installed?

There are no custom add-ins or custom calendaring forms
installed on this pc. The mail server is ms exchange 5.5
sp4. The user has a roaming profile. Things I've tried:
1)logging on to another pc
2)re-created profile
3)starting outlook with /Cleanfreebusy
and /Cleanschedplus switches
