appointment scheduling

When I send an appointment to someone a copy of it shows up on my calendar,
even though I have selected "don't send meeting to this attendee" for myself.
How can I make it so they do not show up on my calendar?
 
As the organizer, a copy will always go on your calendar.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
