I have Outlook and have backed up to a *.pst file and reloaded PC. When I
restored the PC, and *.pst file, I'm not getting my overdue appointments
popping up. I tend to snooze them for a week and let them build up. When they
are fully completed they are then dismissed.

How did you perform the backup and restore? Import and export are not
suited to that. Did you try the /cleanreminders command line switch?

I performed the backup from within outlook, to a pst file. I have tried to
use the command line with no success. The previous appoint ments cannot be
added to a reminder, as it is past the due date. It worked before i reloaded
the pc.

By clicking file then, import and export, and following the little wizard, to
create the file.

Never export to a PST unless you LIKE losing information. The most
effective, simplest way to make a backup is simply to copy your PST while
Outlook is closed.
