Appointment or task?

Hi all...
I want to use outlook to schedule when I need to do reoccuring inventory
orders. I have tried doing them as appointments, but found a problem. When
there is a conflict with a previously scheduled appointment,it tells me there
is a conflict, but not on which date. I would like to set it up so it will
schedule, display, and remind me of all "appointments", even when there is a
conflict.

Can anyone suggest a better way to do it?
Thanks!
John

Johnny,

You don't state what version of Outlook you're using. If Outlook 2003, how
about side-by-side calendars?

Hi...
Using 2002.
What I really want is to open outlook every morning and have in front of me
a list of the orders I need to do that day.
There is no consistancy between orders: different suppliers repeat at
different times: anywhere from every week to every 6 weeks. That is where the
conflicts come in.

Tasks.

Use Tasks AND you need to make these key setting changes to make it date
sensitive:

make sure to use the Start Date for Tasks.
Set the TaskPad view to Active Tasks for Selected Days

Now if you make a Task to call me next Wednesday (start date Wednesday) it
will appear in the TaskPad on Wednesday (not before) and will stay there
until you complete it or delete it.

had trouble with the post and did not know it had gone through.
I will see if I can make the tasks work.
Thanks again
