appointment not showing up on all members of a shared calndear

An appointment on a shared calendar sometimes disappears
from one or more of the members' view of that shared
calendar in Outlook 2003. In this instance several
members can see the appointment while others can't. This
changes from day to day.
 
I would look into the "CACHE" mode as being
the first culprit of this type of problem.

How are you sharing this calendar?
Are all of your clients setup to use CACHE mode?
Are you using Free/Busy?
Are you using Exchange Server? If so, what version?
