Does anyone know of a way to view or exprt the duration of appointments in a
calander? I want to calculate the total time spent on certain appointments
over a period of time. Thanks!

Once you have the fields chosen you need such as Duration you can select the
calendar items and then use the Import/Export function under File. You can
export them into Excel or CSV file. Choose MAPPING options to remove the
fields you do not need, etc.

Regards,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry but Where do you choose the duration field from
before the export on an existing calander?

What version of Outlook are you using?

Let me be more clear in what I am saying. The fist step is I would choose a
view that is a table format such as Active Appointments. Once the view is
up check to see if the field Duration is on the menu bar across the top. If
not you can add it by customizing the view (left had pane on OL2003) our you
can right click on the menu bar or go to View - Customize under Arrange -
Current View. Select Fields and add Duration (may need to change to look in
All Appointments Fields). Now you can proceed with doing an export.

The goal is to first select an useful view and have all the fields listed
that are needed.

Francine,

Thanks for the help. I tried what you suggested and have the duration field
showing but it doesn't show up in the export. Ideas?

Joe
