"Applying Security Policy" message

I get this message just before login screen and hangs.

I cannot figure out how to get past this message, when I
boot in Safe mode, I do get login screen but when I fill
in info, it just greys out and hangs.

Please help!

Older Client Services for Netwrare software could be related to this. If you
cant boot into Safe Mode you may want to try to boot to safe mode without
networking. If that works I would uninstall and reinstall all networking
components and see if the machine will boot.
