Computer seems to hang during this part of logon. I found
an article in MS KB stating they had a fix but there was
no way to obtain it. Said something about previous
article Q329457. Anyone have an answer?

The answer is in the article you read. Either contact MS for a the fix that
is still in the works for this problem. Or wait for it to be released at
the Windows Update site. Contact info for the fix is stated in the article:
