applying macro to selected text

I have a small macro to strip the extra line feeds off of email I want to save. Is there a way to apply this to only a selected section of text?

Probably - but we'd need to see the code. The question should be addressed
(with the code included in the body of the message) to a vba group.

You may also consider the stripmail utility linked from the downloads page
of my web site which will reformat any block of text you paste into it.
