Applying Custom Animations to Other Slides

[PPT 2002] I have created a custom animation. It seemed like it
could not be created as rules separate from the slide, but only in
connection with the actual objects on an actual slide. While that
went okay (after I learned how to group text bullets), I cannot find
a way now to apply the animation rules from that slide to the rest of
the presentation. How is that done?

You might consider using the animation schemes. That would place the
animation on the text placeholder in the slide master.

Keith Tromer has an "animation painter" as part of his Edit tools, I
believe. That's probably worth a look.
