I have been editing auto text and auto format.
My Problem is that I have copied text from a nonword doc and pasted it into word. How can I apply auto text to this text I have just copied?

Assuming that what you pasted is text that can be edited
in Word, and not graphics, select the text, Press Alt +
F3, name the new autotext entry (or accept the default
name), and click OK.

Do you mean how can you make an AutoText entry out of the pasted text?
Select it, press Alt+F3, and select a name for the entry. If you mean
something else, post back with a clearer explanation.

Im not sure If I was clear enough...
I want to apply the auto text entries that I have already made (ex:â„¢), to the copied text.
So If in my auto text I entered a word had â„¢ after it and I would like it to automaticlly change it in the text that was copied.
Understand?

I'm not sure it's possible to do this with AutoText except by retyping the
AutoText entry name and accepting the AutoComplete suggestion (if any) or
pressing F3. For AutoCorrect, you can fire the AutoCorrection by typing a
space after it. AutoCorrect would seem more appropriate for a character such
as â„¢, and in fact there is a built-in entry for it: (tm).
