Applying a filter to a subform

Hello,
I'm having some trouble applying a filter to a subform from the main form.
I'm using Access 2003 and none of the syntax I use seems to work. Can anyone
help? Thanks in advance.
 
Hi Glenn,
an easy way is to apply the filter to the main form.
The subform is then automatically filtered through the link master field and
link child fields.
You can use a combo to apply the filter to the main form.
