Apply Include Page

I can't figure out what the word "apply" means in FrontPage 2000 Help. It
says to "apply" a new or modifed Page Template or Include Page. This is all
new to me. Can someone tell me exactly what steps I have to take to apply a
Page Template or Include Page? I aploigize for asking such a dumb question.

Thanks. From your instructions for the Include Page, which I followed
carefully, I put some boilerplate text (address info, copyright notice,
etc.) and was able to insert it on other pages I chose. Pretty neat!

I still don't get Page Templates though. Once selected, is a page template
supposed to be copied onto a Web page? If so, should I just Select All on a
page within a Web and then paste the page template over that page?

Did MS put page templates in FP as a basis for an entire Web to use "as is"
from a layout standpoint, cutting elements from the page template and then
pasting in new content? I'm sure a page template is a great timesaver once
someone figures how to use it, but as you can tell, I'm still confused.

No

The Page Templates are for creating new pages and can not be applied to other existing pages

PS
That is a new Feature in FP2003 called Dynamic Templates

OK, then can you tell me what steps are involved in using a template to
create a new page? After I select and open it, what do I do then to make a
template that I modify a part of my Web? What steps do I take to move a
modified template page into my Web?

You Open (File New Page) the Template for each page you want to create
- or copy paste the opened Template file and rename each copy

If you modify the Template you Save As a Template
