Does anyone know if there is a way to apply a theme or background to only one
page of a document in Word 2003?

Any information would be helpful.

Place a full page graphic with its layout property set behind text on the
page in question.
Remember that few printers can print to the edges of the paper.

Create it as a graphic anchored to a paragraph in the document text on that
page (with Behind Text wrapping). Or, if this is the first page of the
document, check "Different first page" on the Layout tab of Page Setup and
insert a watermark in the First Page Header only.
