Hello,
Yesterday, my Vista Home Edition 64 bits worked perfectly fine, but today
when I booted it and logged in I was met with several applications that had
crashed.
The programs that crashed were all using a TCP/IP connection of some sort:
Windows Live Messenger, gmail notifier - even the "Watson Client" that
searches the Microsoft online documentation crashed (endless loop there).
I did a bit of a search to find any errors and noticed that ping/tracert and
telnet all work perfectly.
I even reset to a prior working configuration but nothing happens,
diagnosing and repairing the network connection doesn't work, either.
I am behind a router, but this computer (not running Vista) is connected to
the same works perfectly fine.
Thanks for any help,
Jonas
