Applications on Server

I have installed Microsoft Office 2000 on a 2000 server which has active directory. It is primarily an applications server but also shares some files. The applications' folder is shared. However, a client machine logged into that domain cannot access the Office applications. It can still access files shared from the server, but for some reason will not load Word, Excel etc. Even with terminal services enabled on the server, it still won't work.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
 
Are you trying to load e.g. Word from a clientmachine? You better install
Office on the clients.
