Applications like "Regedit" and "NAV" are shutting down before opeining complete

What gives? I tried to run "regedit". The app wants to
launch and then closes immediately. Same goes for big
apps like "NAV". Also audio device has become blocked by
Security update although Yamaha has no new driver. Audio
is now hosed.

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
