application installer wants XP sp1 or greater...

I try to install Cisco's IP communicator 2.0 and the installer stops and says
that it needs win2000 sp3 or XP sp1 or greater a nd then it aborts....
Is there a way to force the installation ??

Have you tried XP SP2 Compatibility Mode?

Right click the installer file and select Properties > Compatibility.

No, and you would probably regret it if you did! The biggest change to
Vista is the way drivers work.

You need to contact the manufacturer for a driver upgrade.
