I am having major troubles completing a movie that I have been working on for
months. I thought I had finished, but then discovered that at one particular
point my movie would freeze up - the sound continues but the picture stops. I
tried deleting That Frame but it now freezes at a different point . I have a
mixture of Video and Photos and it seems to be just before ta video that if
stops?? I have read up on advice about codecs and Acceleration nothing i have
tried has worked. I am working on mm 2.1. I have a new computer only a couple
of months old and windows XP. I am also having trouble with the quality of
the video once I have burnt it onto DVD. I have chosen highest quality
options that I can see? I am no computer wizz so will need things explain
simply - Really hope you can help!

Ok you tried deleting the image that it would hang on and then it would hang
on the next one that is before that particular video clip. So then did you
try deleting that video clip from the project? It could simply be that clip
that is corrupt.
Have a look at the Crashes and Hangs portion of Papajohn's website:
www.papajohn.org
And look at some of the trouble shooting tips on my site:

Then send another message.
If you solved it tell us how please.
If not then more details like the questions below:

How many images are in the project?
What type(s) are they (file extensions)
How many video clips are in the project?
What type(s) are they (file extensions)
How long in minutes is the project?
You have a new computer so it likely isn't a resources problem but it still
could be so what are the specs of the computer?

I have been trying to edit my cooking show and I the program freezes
after I add credits, subtitles or slides. I can't clip/edit after I
add any kind of credits or titles. When I reboot, I can begin
editing again, but I can't do the titles. Is there something I can
do so that I can edit and insert titles during the same session? I
don't want to waste time having to constantly reboot!
