Application Exception Number c0000005 in msaccopt.exe

I can open and run my Design Master just fine. However, if
I open a recently synchronized Replica, I receive error
message "MSACCESs.EXE has generated errors. A log is being
created." and the application shuts down. I checked the
Dr. Watson log and there is this entry:
Application exception occurred:
App: msaccopt.exe (pid=1404)
When: 8/19/2003 @ 15:42:21.945
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
I cannot open the database even bypassing start-up
options. ([Shift]+][Enter]).
Any body ????
