Application Error

My IE window closes frequently. When checking the event
viewer the error message reads:

Faulting application iexplore.exe version 6.0.2800.1106,
faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address
0x458bec45.

Tried uninstalling the latest IE update and reinstalling
6.0 but that isn't working. Any idea as to how to stop
this?
