I'm getting constant errors in Internet Explorer with the
message: "instruction at "#" referenced memory at "#"
Required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O
error status of "#" Also, everything from Windows
Explorer to Media Player to Norton Antivirus locking up
and even rundll32 crashes on occasion. Often when I try
running an application in doesn't appear but it is visible
in Task Manager processes window. I've found that killing
Doctor Watson will sometime alleviate the last problem and
I've since deleted dwwin.exe but I don't know what's
causing this. I've run antivirus programs with up to date
definitions so that isn't the problem. I've also found
using Defrag and trying to empty my Temporary Internet
Files lock up the computer every time. I've used Norton
Windows Doctor and PC Doctor tests for my hard drive,
memory, and process as well as Norton Antivirus but I
can't find the problem. I tried the Window System Recovery
to set the system back a week earlier with no avail. My
final attempt was to try to reinstall Internet Explorer
but I can't uninstall the current version and setup
crashes when I try to download a new version. I don't know
what else to do. Does anyone know what is causing this and
how to remedy the problem?
