Hello got problems.

Ive just repaired windows XP Home SP2 from a black screen with just the
curser working, then i had annoying blank pop up internet explorer windows
(only 2) which freezes IE when i try and click on my favorites and links, now
i think ive fixed this by reinstalling SP2, now im having a Application error
pop up box when i try and click on aFavourite and when i click Windows
Update.exe, it has o other details about it except a Red Circle with an X in
it saying APPLICATION ERROR.

I did Have trouble with installing from CD due to Copy errors which i had to
interchange between SP1 and SP2 XP Home cd for a number of files that couldnt
be copied, (i did not miss any files out).

Please help if you have any good answers Thanx

you should stick with one cd not swapping in the middle

you may want to make a clean copy the sp2 of sp2 from a clean PC
