Application Error at 0x77f8c1bb

We are receiving the following error on several differant machines after
login. It is not every time. Maybe Once a week or so.

Application popup: Explorer.EXE - Application Error: The instruction at
0x77f8c1bb referenced memory at 0x00010782. The memory could not be read.

All these machines are up to date according to Windows Update.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

What type of virus software do you use?

We are using Norton Corp. Edition 7.5
