Some have reported having the version from Office 95 installed and running
(including all Office 95 updates). Office 97 versions (available updated
applied) are supported.
There is some confusion in a few discussions whether Excel files are
supported natively by the operating system. Windows, by itself, does not
support this application's files. Excel or an Excel viewer must be
installed to access Excel files.
