Application check from GPOs

Is there a way that I can have a GPO check if an
application is installed when a user logs in and if not
to instal it? I know I can incorportate this to the
software MSIs but that will requiere loading the MSI
everytime the user logs on.
 
i think u can check by writing your own script but u need third party tools to install if not thr msi
