Lol Apple. Fugly and expensive. I'll stick to my LG G Watch R thanks. :D

The Apple Watch will go on sale April 24th, with prices starting at $349 and running to over $10,000 for its top-of-the-line models. Apple Watch Sport, the low-end model housed in aluminum, starts at $349 for the 38mm model and $399 for the 42mm model. The stainless steel Apple Watch will start at $549 for the 38mm model and $599 for the 42mm model, with prices ranging up to $1,049 and $1,099 depending on the band they're paired with. The 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition will start at $10,000. Those will only be available in select retail stores.

Preorders for the watches start April 10th. Apple will open sales in the US, UK, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and Hong Kong. Though the watch isn't available until April 24th, you'll be able to try it on starting on the 10th if you head into an Apple Store. When it does go on sale, it'll also be available in some department stores and boutiques.

OMG at the price of that 'Editon' model. £8,000 - £12,000.... It looks horrible!

... it's square man. I'll buy a Rolex, and have change left over. :)

I have a mobile phone that tells the time and I don't like jewellery so I don't need a watch. Simple logic :)

I'd imagine, though, that dreaming up a new and different watch design must be as difficult as designing a new font - they've all mostly been done before have they not?
