i have an dell inspiron 8100.it came with windows me but
later the windows xp was sent as an upgrade as part of
the purchase.
if i change the apperance in the properties it will
change buuuuuut within a certain amount of time will
revert back to the original BLUE.
what do i have to do to keep the color screen i like or
is it not possible???

I have a similar problem with my Dell Latitude 2650. I've

changed the wallpaper to a specific bitmap, but every time
I start the computer the original blue desktop is back. If
I don't reselect my theme (which I did save) I end up with
performance problems, on top of everything else.
