This is what I am trying to do:
I have a table - "Table 1", which is updated on a daily
basis with new records - so it is always growing. There
are currently 7100+ records in this table.
I recently made an addition to the table. I added a column
for a new data field which would be very useful to me. Of
course I made the change to the Form as well, so that any
new records entered will have this field populated with
data. The problem is getting the same fields populated on
the previous 7100+ records. That is where Excel is very
handy.
There are some other changes that I will need to make on
an ongoing basis, so my thought line is to Export the
table to Excel - make my changes - then put the revised
date back into the table from where it came.
Thanks for all your help,
Bill
