Hello all,
I have almost 400 documents that I received on a cd. They
did not come with a file extension assigned to them. I can
open them in MS Word, and would like to continue to do so.
I do not want to have to assign the .doc extension to them
individually. Is there a way to append .doc to all of the
files?
I've tried the "ren" command at a dos prompt - I did "ren
*.* *.doc" ...the only prob with this is that some of them
are named differently, and i get messed up results for the
ones it works for at all. For example, one is name 350.01,
another 350.22, and yet another 350_11.
